Overview: 

This trip will focus on connecting how recent geological forces (glaciers) impact modern day land use considerations from a soils-based perspective. Participants would be shown multiple soil pits to familiarize them with soil morphology. This trip would also include historical perspectives on land use and its impact on soils.
